„Stayed at the Adlon, woke up with a high fever on the morning of a critical meeting. The RAB doctor arrived in under an hour, fluent English, prescription in hand, billing accepted by my insurer in Geneva."
„Our seven-year-old came down with a stomach bug on a Sunday. Within 90 minutes a specialist was at the apartment in Charlottenburg — calm, patient, thorough. Best medical experience we have had in Europe."
„As an embassy attaché I value discretion above everything. RAB handled everything with the protocol I am used to from Geneva and Brussels. Highly recommended."
Our typical arrival window in Berlin is 60 to 90 minutes from booking confirmation. In dense traffic around Mitte or Charlottenburg this may extend; in the evening and at night arrivals are often faster. Phone and WhatsApp at +49 30 550 77 870 are staffed daily from 6 a.m. to midnight.
We bill according to the German Medical Fee Schedule for private patients (GOÄ). You receive a detailed invoice that you can submit to your private health insurer, embassy reimbursement scheme or international insurer. Costs are usually fully reimbursed; any deductible depends on your policy.
Yes. We are familiar with reimbursement requirements for Allianz Worldwide, Cigna Global, GeoBlue, BUPA International, AXA Global Healthcare and most embassy-issued plans. Invoices are issued in a format your insurer can process. For direct-billing arrangements, please mention it when booking.
Our specialist guarantee applies in every district: a board-certified specialist (Facharzt/Fachärztin) will attend — Internal Medicine, General Medicine, Pediatrics or related disciplines. Never residents, never trainees. Where required, we match language preference (English, Russian, French, Italian, Polish).
No. RAB Berlin complements but does not replace the public ambulance service. For life-threatening emergencies — chest pain, stroke symptoms, severe trauma, anaphylaxis — please dial 112 (European emergency number) first. We are the right address for acute but non-life-threatening conditions where a physician at your address is needed.
Yes, where medically justified. After a personal examination we issue a certificate of incapacity for work (Arbeitsunfähigkeitsbescheinigung) — bilingually on request or with an English translation — that meets internationally accepted requirements. A remote sick note without prior examination is not permissible under German medical regulations.
